R&B singer CHRIS BROWN is under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, police officials have confirmed.The Los Angeles Police Department have confirmed that Brown, 19, and woman were involved in a heated argument in Los Angeles early on Sunday.Police report the woman - who police are refusing to identify - suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.LAPD officer April Harding issued a statement after a 911 call reported the disturbance: "If police locate Brown, he's subject to arrest."Earlier on Saturday night, Brown and girlfriend Rihanna - who were both scheduled to perform at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday - attended music mogul Clive Davis' pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills.Following the party and the incident involving Brown, both stars cancelled their appearances at the big show.A statement released on Sunday by Grammy bosses reads, "We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight's 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We're sorry she is unable to join us this evening."No statement has been released regarding Brown's no-show.A spokesperson for the Umbrella singer said: "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."
